Meet Our Team!

  • Ortho Rehab - Tim Persaud

    Tim is a graduate of the Masters of Physiotherapy program at D'Youville (MPT). He is a Registered Physiotherapist and member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Tim began his academic career by completing his Honours degree in Kinesiology at York University. He also holds a degree in Geography from York. Tim has subsequently furthered his continuing education successfully completing the Level 1 Manual therapy at the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy, Part 1 of the Certificate of Anatomical Acupuncture from the Academy of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI), Orthotic courses (Orthotic Group), Soft tissue release (Jim Bilotta), SFMA, LILT (Meditech), Shoulder Complex (APTEI), SI Course Part 1 and 2 (APTEI), and Kinesiotape course (KTA). He is also a Certified Arcon Evaluator. He is married with two beautiful children who are his pride and joy. Most importantly he is bald but is OK with it.

    Rebecca is a Certified Athletic Therapist who completed her Athletic Therapy degree at Sheridan College, before which she obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. She is a member of the Ontario Athletic Therapy Association and the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association. Rebecca has worked with many different varsity sports teams at the University of Waterloo as well as Ryerson University. In addition, she has experience working with unique sports teams including working with the jockey’s at Woodbine Racetrack and the international athletes of the Sr. Men’s Field Hockey Pan American World Cup Qualifier. On her spare time she enjoys training and competing with her dressage horse. In the winter, she can be found on the slopes snowboarding!

  • Ortho Rehab - Deborah Castillo

    Debora is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from ICT Kikkawa College in 2012 and since has worked in various settings. Through her clinical experience Debora has worked together with medical doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopaths and foot specialists. As a committed practitioner it has always been her desire to give and help others, and go out of her way to ensure that her patients have the best possible care. She is passionate about continuing her education in order to improve her knowledge and skills to better treat her patients. Her intention is to help you heal by applying a variety of techniques tailored to your individuals need. In order to rehabilitate the body some of the modalities include: myofascial work, trigger point therapy, range of motion stretching, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy, Swedish techniques and manual lymph drainage.

    Sahista is a Physiotherapy Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India (RGUHS). She worked as a Physiotherapist with CPT rehab center in India. Sahista has also completed the Fitness and Health Promotion program from Humber College. She likes cooking and drawing during her leisure time.
